Current Projects

Since September 2022 - present: ASBA (Anxiety, Stress, Brain-friendly Museum Approach - The brain-friendly museum ally against anxiety and stress) is an innovative Italian study on promoting well-being in the museum context, which involves the research group CARS (Cognitive, Affective Research Studies) affiliated with the PhiLab laboratory of the Department of Philosophy "Piero Martinetti".

In particular, the team of the University of Milan, which includes psychologists Claudio Lucchiari and Maria Elide Vanutelli, and artificial intelligence expert Raffaella Folgieri, will be responsible for scientific-technological supervision, neuro-cognitive research methodology, and data analysis, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of researchers and professionals coordinated by Annalisa Banzi of CESPEB, Center for Studies on the History of Biomedical Thought. The project involves, in addition to researchers from the University of Milan, the University of Milan-Bicocca and the University of Rome "La Sapienza", as well as the Museum of Natural History, the Modern Art Gallery, and the Municipality of Milan. The project, unique in its kind, will provide significant progress based on science, far beyond the current state of the art. In fact, techniques such as mindfulness, visual thinking strategies, art therapy, and the ArtUp method will be proposed and analyzed in the museums involved.

Since 1/1/2022 - collaboration with the Open University (UK) for the project Polifonia. Polifonia is a European Union-funded project led by the Open University in the UK. The project aims to create a network of experts and institutions across Europe to develop new approaches to musicology and music education. The focus of the project is on exploring the rich cultural heritage of European music, with the goal of developing more inclusive and diverse approaches to music education.
