NEWS

Given the difficulties for many students to get to the University because of the public transport strike, there will be no class tomorrow (24th January). therefore, the next class is January 31st

THE SECOND LESSON WILL BE ON 24th January. There will be not any lesson on 17th!!!

PLEASE NOTE that, as written on the Faculty pages, students MUST register (by SIFA) to attend the lessons. The access to the course is limited only to students registered to the course.

Attending the lessons is not compulsory to access the examination.

This course do not correspond to ECDL! The course focuses on problem solving approach. The following arguments will be treated: problem solving approach methodologies; IT tools supporting P.S. and practical applications; P.S. and decision making – theory and relationships; creative P.S. – ex. Socio-demographical analysis; strategic P.S. – ex. PIL; algorithmic/Management P.S. – ex. Control applications; the Computational Thinking.


How does it works?

Students MUST register (by SIFA) to attend the lessons.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: ITC basic tools and English language

As all the other courses, there will be only one course session, in the second period (starting from the 10th of January). Students who did not register by SIFA cannot attend the lessons, but they can access the examination studying all course materials on their own.

Lessons will begin in the second period, and will be on Friday, 8.30-12-15, lecture hall 2, via Passione. Total duration of the course: 20 hours, divided into 5 lessons.

Lessons: theory and practical session.

The lessons will be taught in English and all the examination will be in English.

PLEASE, do not write me any email asking for information concerning examination dates (you can access to this information by SIFA) or asking for information already present on Internet: learn to use correclty the Internet! All the information are already present on your Faculty and Course pages!

No certification can substitute the final exam or the course.


EXAMINATION MODALITY

EXAMINATION MODALITY: written multiple-choice tests and exercises.

The examination will be in English starting from the end of the course (March 2014).

Course materials, prepared by the Professor and present on this website, are sufficient to pass the examination.

There are not any examples of past examination tests (please, do not ask for them).
